Student Volunteering Cardiff is one of the U.K's largest student led volunteering organisations. We currently have over 900 volunteers working on more than 35 projects which help support the local community.

Staff at a Gardening Renovation Project - October 2007
Our projects include working with children and young people with a disability, working in a homeless drop in centre, helping people with mental health problems, and working with adults with learning disabilities in a community garden.
We offer volunteering opportunities for both students and staff. Last year staff got involved by helping build a sensory garden at a special needs school and stewarding at Breast Cancer Campaigns Pink Aerobics.
Upcoming staff volunteering opportunities:

Staff at a Gardening Renovation Project - October 2007
Glan Yr Afon Primary School (Saturday 26th January) – Helping paint playground markings (alphabets, hopscotch grids, numberlines etc)
Eglwys Wen Primary School (Date TBC) – Painting various sites around the school
Hollies School (Date TBC) – Painting a classroom
SVC can also offer departments the opportunity to participate in team challenge days. These can be anything from painting a mural and conservation work to cooking meals for the homeless.
If you would like to volunteer on any of the above or have any questions please contact Coralie Merchant at merchantc@cf.ac.uk or learn more by visiting the SVC website.
