Introduction to Condor Workshop
28th February 2008 Are you a new Condor user or just curious as to whether Condor is a service which might be able to help with your research needs? Maybe you've heard people mention the "Condor Pool" and would like to know what this is. This workshop is designed to help answer some of these questions, as well as give users an opportunity to try using the Condor service in a controlled friendly environment. It is aimed at a cross-section of the community, from those users who are currently using or thinking about subscribing to the service and would like bit more information or guidance on best practice ideas, to users who are curious to see what the service is and what is involved in being able to run jobs on the pool.
There will be an opportunity to talk and raise questions, run 'hands-on' demonstrations, as well as an opportunity to meet with other condor users and exchange hints and tips.
