The Careers Service organises a variety of careers fairs and events throughout the year to enable you to reach our students and graduates and to talk to them face to face.

Careers Fairs

Careers Fairs offer an excellent opportunity for you to raise your profile whilst meeting and chatting to a great range of keen and talented students.

The Careers Service also works closely with other organisations hosting Careers Fairs in Cardiff

Employer Presentations

Presentations offer an opportunity for you to host your own event at Cardiff University and to present your organisation and opportunities to interested students and graduates.

The Careers Service can assist you in organising a Presentation

  • Suggesting suitable dates and timings
  • Booking rooms
  • Managing a 'sign up' system
  • Publicising your Presentation

Presentations are charged at £95 plus VAT; this fee covers the cost of the room, security, administration and promotional activity. Catering requests are arranged and invoiced separately by Cardiff University’s Catering department.

Employer Drop-ins

Drop-ins refer to employers or other careers related organisations setting up a small stand in a public area - typically the foyer of one of our Academic Schools or the Careers Service. This informal style of event offers an opportunity to promote your organisation and opportunities to both passers-by and those who drop-in especially to see you.

  • Booking venues
  • Publicising your Drop-in

Drop-ins are charged at £95 plus VAT; this fee covers the cost of administration and promotional activity.

Employer Recruiting Visits

Also referred to as ‘Milkround’, we offer organisations the opportunity to interview our students and graduates at the Careers Service.

The Careers Service can assist you in organising your Recruiting Visit

  • Suggesting suitable dates and timings
  • Booking rooms
  • Managing a ‘sign up’ system
  • Publicising your Recruiting Visit

Recruiting Visits are charged at £45 plus VAT; this fee covers the cost of the room, administration and promotional activity.
