We can make the following adjustments to maximise your use of the Careers Service:

Parking

We have a disability car parking space at the back of the Building. Please contact us beforehand if you require this so that we can ensure it is available.

Access to the Careers Service

We have a ramp up to the building both at the front and the back. The Reception and the Library are on the ground floor. The Careers Service is spread over three floors: please contact the Careers Service Reception in advance if you want to attend an interview or a workshop and you have difficulty in getting up stairs. We will make every effort to re-arrange the location. To do this you will need to email careers@cardiff.ac.uk, or telephone the careers service on (029) 20874828.

• "Should I Disclose Dyslexia/Disability or Health Condition to an Employer?" - You can book a place on this workshop by selecting 'Book now for Careers and Employers events'.

Booklets

The Careers Library has the following information that might be of specific interest to you:

• We have six main in-house careers publications.  These are available on disc for students who may find it easier to receive them in this format so that the data can be manipulated in a preferred way.
• We have a system where employers who are members of the Employers Disability Forum are highlighted.
