Accommodation
A large range of accommodation is available during the university vacation. We are able to advise the most suitable location for you. Situated only a short walk from the city centre and all the University amenities, accommodation is available with individual private en suite facilities; semi en-suite or standard rooms, sharing bathroom facilities.
All rooms are provided with bed linen, complimentary tea and coffee, towels and toiletries.
Accommodation is also available for larger conferences. Talybont has over 2000 single en-suite rooms, which can cater for large events.

Facilities on campus
The range of conference facilities situated on the University main campus allow organisers to choose locations appropriate to their individual requirements.
From meeting rooms with seating for between 10-460 delegates; traditional lecture theatres with state of the art audio-visual equipment. To executive rooms available for private hire. The Viriamu Jones Gallery in the Main Building, main campus, is an ideal venue taking full advantage of the University's prime location in Cardiff's civic centre.
The National Museum and Gallery Cardiff offers its facilities for conference dinners in the unrivalled surroundings of the Museum's marble foyer with drinks receptions available in the Impressionist Art Galleries.
The University Union has a range of facilities including meeting rooms, restaurants and shopping mall. The Great Hall is more than 800m2 and is ideal for large functions, exhibitions, launches and lectures

New lecture theatre for up to 460 delegates
Accommodation is also available for larger conferences on one site, which is situated approximately a mile from the university main conference facilities. Aberconway lecture theatre is a new facility, which can accommodate up to 460 delegates. Pleasantly located at North Campus, just a short distance from the Main University buildings and city centre, this state-of-the-art centre is equipped with data projector, slide projector, OHP, and screens. The lectern at the front of the theatre has controls for equipment and computer. Available during the summer vacation, this facility is excellently located opposite Colum Hall and adjacent to the Aberconway Restaurant, hence it is the ideal location for large conferences and events.
