Facilities on Campus
A range of venues enables organisers to choose locations, which are appropriate to the events and conferences they are arranging. These vary from the exquisite civic surroundings of the Glamorgan and Main Buildings, to campus Cyber Cafe's complete with work stations, to smaller Coffee Shops which can be transformed for buffet style lunches, exhibition areas and in some cases meeting rooms. Full menus are available from individual working buffet lunches delivered to each venue to conference banquet and evening gala dinners for up to 200 delegates.
The Glamorgan Building located at the heart of the civic centre provides an excellent venue for formal dinners. The Committee Room has been prepared for an evening event booked by the Welsh Development Agency and attended by HRH the Prince of Wales, Chancellor of the University.
The University Union has a range of facilities including meeting rooms, restaurants and shopping mall. The Great Hall is more than 800m2 and is ideal for large functions, exhibitions, launches and lectures.
