Registration of hardware for use on the University network
Cardiff University operates a strict policy on connection of equipment (desktop computers, notebooks etc) to the network. All equipment must be registered for use with INSRV by completing a Permission to Connect form. To maintain the integrity of the network all computers connected must be running the approved anti-virus software and have all Microsoft security patches applied.
Please submit requests for registrations via the ENGIN IT Helpdesk , as the IT team can submit the form and confirm the current status of the equipment.
