Ken Meecham - Project Engineer
Ken is responsible for providing building services advice to Project Managers and ensuring that Consultants consider the most energy efficient designs for M&E services which incorporate the standard engineering requirements of Cardiff University. He is a Corporate Member of the Institute of Engineering Technology and has over 40 years experience within the construction industry. Prior to employment with the University he worked in private consultancy providing design and energy investigation services within the industrial and commercial sectors.
Jonathan Simcock - Project Manager
Jon is responsible for managing capital works projects within the division. He is a chartered British Surveyor and a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He has over 20 years experience within the construction industry, working in both public and private sectors. For the last 10 years Jon has worked extensively within the University sector. Prior to employment with Cardiff University, Jon worked in private practice on major capital projects for BT and Railtrack.

Minor Works
Guy Henry - Project Manager
Guy is responsible for managing the Minor Works team for projects valued from £50,000 to £500,000, which includes architectural, mechanical and electrical input from the team members. He is a chartered architect and a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects. He has over 30 years experience in the construction industry, and has worked in both the public and private sector on housing, education, residential and commercial projects . Guy has also worked for a number of years as a part-time lecturer teaching architectural and building industry related students, and has a teaching certificate in this respect.
Paul Roberts - Project Officer
Paul is responsible for managing Residences projects within the division. He studied Building Surveying at university and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Building. He has nearly 15 years experience in the construction industry and has working in the private and Housing Association sectors.
