Dr Andy Berry - Estates Liaison and Health and Safety Manager 
Andy is responsible for managing safety within Estates.  Andy is the responsible person for asbestos for the University, and also provides CDM [Construction Design and Management] Coordinator services to the Minor Works team and in relation to certain capital projects. These CDM duties consider how construction risks can be eliminated at all stages of construction from design to final decommissioning. Originally a biochemist, Andy holds the 2-part NEBOSH diploma in safety, is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health and also a Chartered Health and Safety Practitioner. Andy has 10 years of experience in estates-related activities, including liaison with various NHS sites.
