Cardiff University is a world class institution in a young and vibrant city.

With over 3,000 international students we can also offer a cosmopolitan environment in which to live and study.

We have links with many European universities, and whether you are here for a full year or a few months, you will benefit from first class learning resources, excellent support services and a wide range of events and activities in which you can participate.

We hope that these web-pages will give you some useful information about what it is like living in Cardiff and about what to do before you leave and once you arrive in Cardiff.

Sara Ferrari

My Erasmus experience was totally positive. I had the chance to make friends with Welsh people who showed me around and made me feel as if I was at home. Erasmus brings people and culture together. Now that I am back in Italy working as an English teacher, I constantly try to motivate my students to travel and to study abroad because I believe that this is the best way to learn!

Don't let the limits of your new country be the border to your horizon.
While I was abroad I met people from all over the world, different walks of life and every background imaginable.
