Positive Health + Environment Week 2012 (PHEW 2012)
What is PHEW?
Our fourth Positive Health and Environment Week (PHEW) will be taking place between Monday 25th June and Friday 6th July 2012. This annual event aims to encourage, support and develop the health and wellbeing of Cardiff University’s employees, through a wide range of enjoyable and informative activities. From fitness classes to health checks and adventure activities, we hope that there will be something in PHEW for all University staff to enjoy.
More detailed information on the programme of activities will be made available in May.
In the meantime, for a flavour of what PHEW is all about take a look at what happened during PHEW 2011 by clicking on the links on the right of this page.

Why is it important?
“Ensuring that the health and well being of staff is supported is extremely important if we are to ensure that we have a happy, healthy and productive workforce. Since the first Positive Health and Environment Week in 2009, it has become a popular annual event in the University calendar. It is clear from the feedback we receive after each event that PHEW is something which staff have found enjoyable and valuable, enhancing their experience of working for the University.”
