Many confidential career consultations are regularly carried out for research staff across all of our 28 Academic Schools. These provide guidance on career decisions, developing your current career interests and researching new career areas; advice and coaching on interview techniques; advice and feedback on tailoring CVs for new jobs; and help with job search techniques and sources. Feedback from users has indicated that the main areas of benefit have been the impartial approach, as well as access to an independent opinion and input from a careers professional on practical job application and selection.
