Media Resources Centre
Working in partnership with the Cardiff and Vale University Health Board, the Media Resources Centre designs and produces a wide range of visual media to support patient care, teaching and research, including:
- General and specialist clinical photography
- Graphic design and large-format poster production including medical illustration, general illustration and animation
- Off-set litho printing
- Video facilities, from full programme production to editing/digitisation of material for use in PowerPoint presentations and similar
- Videoconferencing studios on the Heath Park and Cathays campuses
- Labs for learning and teaching of clinical and communication skills
Primarily located on the Heath Park site, our services can be delivered widely throughout the University. Whilst our main focus is supporting the clinical community, many of our services are suitable for, and adaptable to, non-clinical subject matter.
