Electronic Journals on HeinOnline
HeinOnline is a fully searchable archive of law journals. Most titles come from the United States, but there is an increasing number of titles from the UK. Each title starts at volume 1 and many go back to the late 19th century. The journals are scanned into the database so each page appears as an image version of the print copy.
There is a list of all law journals included on HeinOnline (pdf file), with their coverage.
There are three ways of accessing HeinOnline.
- Direct to HeinOnline if you are using a computer in Cardiff University
- Using your CU Login
- By using the HeinOnline password to access the database off-campus via the HeinOnline login page.

The Index to Periodical Articles Related to Law (held on HeinOnline) is a U.S. biased index which indexes substantial English language law-related articles not included in law journals or any periodicals that are directly law-related. Coverage begins in 1958.
