The Health Library is located on the ground, first and second floors of the Cochrane Building.
Access
- Entrance between 7.15am and 6.00pm, Monday to Friday, via the main entrance doors
- Outside these hours, the building maintains swipe-card access; a Cardiff University or Library photo ID is required to gain admittance
- Please ask for assistance if you have difficulty getting the books from the shelves

Opening hours
The Health Library is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, as are the IT rooms and reading rooms and other facilities in the Library area
The Enquiry Desk is staffed between the following hours:

The Health Library provides information services to support both undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as academic staff and provides services for the staff of Cardiff and Vale University Health Board.
The Advisory Helpdesk service is housed in the Health Library.
