On Friday 8th February, a new 6 part pilot podcast series known as the 'Student Survival Guide to Writing a Good Essay' will be released on a weekly basis on the Information Services and Xpress Radio web sites.
Featuring hints and tips from academics, student counselling service and our very own library staff, students will discover:
What makes a good essay?
- Quality control: information to use and avoid
- Going beyond the reading list: finding good web sites
- Going beyond the reading list: discovering books and journals
- Getting your references in order
- Meeting the deadline
The podcasts have been commissioned by Information Services with full support from the Students' Union radio station Xpress.
