Dio mio, what a day! Mi sono svegliato late perchè we had an interuzione di corrente in the middle of the night, so la mia sveglia elettrica didn’t go off. Vabbè, I only missed venti minuti of my first lesson del giorno, double science, che peccato! I find studying how sodium reacts to water molto interessante and sono sicuro che this knowledge sarà very utile when I become a professional calciatore. However the insegnante didn’t realise that I was being sarcastico and insisted that because I ’m so interested in la chimica I should attend extra classes durante l’ora del pranzo!
I lunedi are the worst: dopo two hours of science, I have due hours di letteratura inglese, followed by an hour of matematica! I would die of noia if it wasn’t for my Italian class alla fine del giorno. I love Italian, it’s such a gran divertimento, we get to watch Italian television and listen to songs by Lucio Dalla. La grammatica non è troppo difficle if you do your compiti, but preferisco the giochi di ruolo. Today an italiana vera came to our class to help us a prepararci per gli esami orali. Her name is Beatrice and she’s bellissima! She’s also very intelligent because sa suonare tre strumenti musicali, but I wasn’t looking my best because this morning ero così di fretta che non ho avuto il tempo di fare una doccia so my hair was unto and I looked quite trasandato. Comunque I was able to fare una bella figura with my Italian skills, perchè I practice a lot a casa. I think that adesso inizierò ad esercitarmi molto di più, because lei verrà a trovarci every two weeks. Dunque il lunedì non è poi troppo male.
