Prior to joining the Communications team at the University in 2014 Laura spent 2 years working in Marketing and Events for Cardiff based digital agency Spindogs. Before that Laura spent time in London working at the head offices of beauty brands NailsInc and later on Ciate.
Laura is a graduate of Cardiff’s School of Journalism, Media and Cultural Studies, which she graduated from in 2010.

Louise has worked at the University for 8 years in a variety of roles. Prior to working with the Communications team she worked in the Human Resources Directorate as a PA and Positive Working Environment Project Administrator. Before that Louise worked in the School of Psychology as a Senior Administrative Assistant, working on a variety of projects including the School Research Ethics Committee, the Fertility Pathways Network and the Quarterly Journal of Experimental Psychology.
Louise has a BA in History & Politics and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (Primary). Louise is a fluent Welsh speaker.

Before joining the University in 2009 Chris worked in research and communications in politics for the Labour Party and in health, for the British Medical Association. Chris is a Cardiff University Politics graduate and has a CIPR diploma in Public Relations.

Victoria joined the Communications team in 2007, having worked previously as a researcher and producer in radio and television for companies including BBC Wales, Boomerang and Green Bay.
Victoria is a graduate of Cardiff’s School of Journalism, Media and Cultural Studies and is currently a postgraduate student at the School writing up her PhD.

Charlotte joined the University as internal communications manager in 2014 and has over 10 years communications experience with a range of different organisations including an environmental organisation, a social inclusion charity and more recently at professional services firm KPMG. She has always held an interest in communications and holds a passion for engaging people in imaginative ways.
Charlotte holds a BSC in Biochemistry and an MA in Environment, Society and Policy.

Alison has over 13 years’ experience in public relations across the private, public and voluntary sectors.
She has been at the University since 2011 and managed public relations and marketing in the Law School prior to joining the PR team. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) and is also an Accredited Practitioner.
Alison has a BA in English Literature and an MA in Public Relations. She is the Secretary for the CIPR’s Education and Skills Group.

Heath joined the University in December 2013. He has worked in senior media relations roles (Office for National Statistics, Human Tissue Authority) and in journalism (ITV News / Western Mail). He is a Cardiff Law School graduate and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.

Kevin joined the University in August 2014. He has previously worked in journalism initially at the Kidderminster Shuttle, then on the South Wales Echo and the group's weekly valleys titles before joining BBC Wales. Kevin worked at BBC Wales for 15 years on the newsdesk, in the political unit and on the news website.
Liaising with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to research information for wider communications campaigns and events.

Tom is a multilingual Masters graduate of International Journalism from Cardiff University with experience working in public relations since 2009.

Jenni has worked at the University for five years, handling communications for IT, Libraries and ARCCA. Prior to joining the University, she held a range of PR and Communications roles at companies here in Wales and in Ireland.
Jenni has a BA in English Studies from Exeter University, and graduated from Cardiff’s School of Journalism, Media and Cultural Studies with a MA in Journalism Studies. A member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, Jenni has a real interest in internal communications and employee engagement, and is currently studying the CIPR’s Internal Communications Diploma.

Jack joined the University in January 2015. He previously worked at LSE's Institute of Public Affairs on a range of innovative knowledge exchange projects and in the NHS to reduce health inequalities by empowering teenage mothers. Jack holds a BA in Management and an MA in Politics.

Lucy has worked at the University since 2009, firstly as PA to the Director of Strategic Development within the Vice-Chancellor’s office and as Events Officer since 2012.
Prior to working at the University, Lucy worked for 7 years in the hospitality industry as PA to the General Manager of The St David’s Hotel & Spa in Cardiff Bay, where she gained valuable experience in the weddings, conference and celebratory events markets.
Lucy has also spent time teaching English abroad and has spent time in London working as PA support in the financial and sports media and marketing industries.
Lucy has a BSc (Econ) in European Community Studies.

Jemma has worked at the University since April 2014, firstly in Research Innovation Support and then the Planning Department. Prior to this she worked in the Marketing Department at Swansea University, and at an educational charity.

Lowri has a BA in Sociology and a Masters in Marketing. Lowri began her career as a PR consultant in the north east of England. On moving back to Wales, she worked for some of Wales’ leading public relations consultancies, directing PR campaigns for public, private and third sector organisations. Lowri moved in-house at Cardiff University in 2007 originally as part of the Public Relations Team, taking up the post of Public Affairs Manager in 2010.

Paul is a graduate of the School of Psychology at Cardiff University, and also holds an MA in Film. He currently has a joint research / film production role, working a day a week for the public relations team alongside his work as a research associate in psychology. A graduate of Bournemouth Media School and the European Film College, Richard has a background in production across a variety of genres in broadcast and education as well as photography and public relations.
Rekha previously was a Production Manager for Cracking Production and joined the University in 2008 to assist in the production of film and video.
