Degree Programmes
We offer one undergraduate degree programme, MPharm, which has four themes: chemistry, drug delivery, pharmacology and pharmacy practice. This section provides information about the course and how to apply, and links to useful pages on the Cardiff University site for prospective students. N.B. This course is fully approved by the General Pharmaceutical Council as a recognised route of entry in the profession of pharmacy.
The Welsh School of Pharmacy is one of the top UK schools of pharmacy and the only one in Wales. With around 35 members of full-time staff, we were awarded an excellent for the quality of our teaching and learning. Most of the staff are conducting research that is Internationally recognised.
The School has a diverse research portfolio and range of research facilities. Research interests embrace a number of themes developed across four disciplines. We are currently seeking to fill up to 25 PhD Studentships for the 2010/11 intake. Studentships provide a minimum tax-free stipend of £13k / annum.
