Undergraduate

The Welsh School of Pharmacy is one of the top UK schools of pharmacy and the only one in Wales. With over 40 members of full-time staff, we were graded 'excellent' for the quality of our teaching and learning.
Our Undergraduate Course
There are four themes within the MPharm programme: chemistry, drug delivery, pharmacology and pharmacy practice. Just as important as the four individual subject themes of the MPharm programme is how they fit together, what we call interdisciplinarity. In the design of our programme and in the way that we teach we continually make and explain these connections.
N.B. This course is fully approved by the General Pharmaceutical Council as a recognised route of entry in the profession of pharmacy
All applicants for a place on the MPharm course will be interviewed (special arrangements are made for overseas applicants).
Equal Opportunities
The University is committed to providing equal opportunities and we welcome applicants from all sections of the community. For any information about disabilities and special needs in the Welsh School of Pharmacy, please contact:
Welsh School of Pharmacy International Scholarship Award
The Welsh School of Pharmacy normally awards up to five scholarships per annum which are available to students who are self-funded or partially-funded from another source.
Awards are made on the basis of academic performance, interview performance and need.
Candidates will only be invited to apply for the Scholarship if they have already received an Unconditional, or Conditional, offer from the School of Pharmacy.
The level of grant awarded will be a minimum of £1,000 or a maximum of £2,500 in any academic year and will be made assuming you satisfy the requirements of the Master of Pharmacy Scheme Examination Board and progress to the next academic year.
The International Scholarship Panel will consider all applications by early August each year.
