Approximately 60 Physiotherapy students and new graduates from SOHCS provided a volunteer massage service for runners in the Cardiff Half Marathon on Sunday 18th October.

Professor Patricia Price, currently a Professor in the School of Medicine at Cardiff University, has been appointed Head of the School of Healthcare Studies with effect from 1 February 2010.

Tony Everett and Nicki Phillips have put together a CPD project: “Physiotherapists supporting athletes across all abilities”, starting in November, it is the first sport and volunteering project throughout the UK to receive the London 2012 Olympics Inspire mark.
