Location
Cardiff School of Nursing and Midwifery Studies is based on the Heath Park Campus of Cardiff University alongside the University Hospital of Wales.
Teaching is also carried out in the neighbouring EastGate House Campus and Caerleon Campus.
The Heath Park Campus is located at the University Hospital of Wales. The School of Nursing and Midwifery Studies is based in the Ty Dewi Sant Building which houses lecture theatres, library, computing facilities, snack bar and video conferencing facility. The Campus is shared with the Schools of Healthcare, Medicine and Dentistry.
Conveniently based near the centre of the City, EastGate House offers an exceptional learning environment, newly refurbished and includes excellent equipment. The Children’s, Mental Health and Midwifery nursing lecturers and students are based here, together with the Research arm of the School.
The Caerleon Campus is situated approximately three miles from the City of Newport and has good road and bus links. The Clinical Skills Centre provides state of the art teaching of practice interventions to Cardiff School of Nursing and Midwifery students.
