Career Overview
Panos joined the Nursing, Health and Social Care Research Centre in 1998. Since then, he has developed an expertise in the area of patient’s and provider’s choice using the discrete choice experiment technique as well as in risk management of chronic wounds, and particularly of pressure ulcers. Prior to this, he spent nearly 2 years working at the Centre for Health Economics, University of York. His publication portfolio includes referred journal articles appeared in peer reviewed and well known academic journals such as: International Journal of Nursing Studies, International Journal of Health Technology in Health Care, Journal of Advanced Studies, Clinical Effectiveness in Nursing and professional orientated journals (ie nursing standards). Technical papers have been published at University of York and Cardiff University, whilst reports have been produced for grant awarding bodies (eg the Welsh Office for Research and Development). He has also contributed to several national and international conferences.
