You are required to produce your current NMC PIN card at enrolment.

What is a Cardiff University Student Card?

It is advisable that you apply for this card if you are likely to be using resources or facilities on campus during your study.

This card has a number of important functions:

  • Library and E-learning card
  • Proximity card (entry to various University buildings)
  • Proof of Identity
  • Proof of membership of National Union Students (NUS)

You must submit a passport photograph with your application. The card will be pre-produced for you to collect in person.

Please note before obtaining your Cardiff University student card:

You must complete online enrolment

You must provide proof of your identity at collection

You will not be issued with a card unless you are a registered student and provide the appropriate Identification at collection (Please note, you are not required to send in proof of identity, you should bring this with you to the appropriate venue).

It is advisable that you return your completed application form and photograph as soon as you receive your enrolment information.
